A free shredding event will take place Saturday with donations being accepted for Eastern Area Community Ministries. The event will be at Westport Road Baptist Church, 9705 Westport Road, from 9 to 11 a.m.  A Plus Paper Shredding will shred and pulverize documents and data on-site for businesses and residences.
